Our clients were the inspiration behind KC Handyman, a division of Kaufman Construction formed in 2004. In some industries, you never hear from your clients again once a job is finished. Fortunately, that wasn’t our experience. Our clients stayed in touch with us long after their remodeling projects were completed. In fact, many of them trusted us to tackle other jobs in their homes, ranging from repairing leaky roofs to installing new kitchen cabinets and countertops.
We realized that it made sense to start a service that offered an alternative to the Design-Build, fixed price approach offered by Kaufman Construction. KC Handyman was created to handle smaller projects that require skill and craftsmanship but don’t need the same oversight as a major renovation.
The talented handymen who work for KC Handyman take care of large and small repairs, maintenance and renovation projects for homeowners and businesses. Clients pay an hourly rate and are responsible for directing the work of the handymen.

Chesney makes sure that people are paying attention to every little detail. He enjoys spending his weekend playing fetch at the lake and making sure no food gets left behind.
After a long day making sure the office staff and guests are happy, Ollie likes to relax by playing at the dog park or enjoying a nice juicy porkchop.
When he isn't overseeing all current pawjects, you can find Nash lounging by the lake or playing with his favorite toy.

With a wag in his step and a keen eye for detail, Apollo keeps a close watch on the job site (and the treat jar). Known for his upbeat attitude and expert negotiating skills, he always manages to fetch what he wants, especially if it involves a Milk-Bone. Whether he’s doing rounds or charming the crew, Apollo makes sure every project is paws-itively on track.

Thoughtful and laid-back, Ozlo takes his time planning the perfect space - unless there’s a tennis ball or body of water involved. A true visionary with a soft side, he’s always fetching ideas, diving into projects, or curling up for a well-earned break.
