Curious about what's been going on with us lately? Here's a quick rundown of the past few months at Kaufman Construction. In November, some of our crew flew down to Arizona for the Schluter Tile Innovation Workshop. While we have been installing Schluter for years, our team gained significant knowledge at the workshops on how to properly install the system and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the process. We are now certified to assist clients in selecting the most suitable shower system for their needs and budget, and to ensure that the installation process is efficient and accurate. Our carpenters have been putting in serious work, completing stunning remodeling projects, turning our clients' dreams into reality. Meanwhile, our handyman crew has been all over town—painting, installing flooring, cleaning gutters, fixing fences, you name it. We can't list all the projects we've tackled! Wrapping up 2023, we celebrated at Walnut Woods Lodge in West Des Moines. We had a blast conversing and playing games, with dinner catered by Brad Jones at Up In Smoke BBQ. Ringing in the new year took us to Smash Park for good food, loads of fun, and some friendly, albeit spirited, competition on the pickleball court! |

He has always held an interest in construction, working in the field since 2017, taking on summer jobs related to construction throughout high school. His favorite tool is his nailer, which helps him quickly complete his tasks. Outside of work, Blake unwinds by watching movies, working with his truck, and spending time with his dogs, Terry and Lady. Blake's experience and positive attitude have made him a valuable asset to our team. |

SMALL SCALE LUXURYOur team had a wonderful time working on this Windsor Heights kitchen remodel. One of the major highlights was the pleasure we had in building a relationship with our clients. Their relaxed decision-making approach made the process easy and stress-free all the way through. The remodel is a prime example of how bigger doesn't always mean better and that small-scale luxury can be just as impressive. One wall is all about function featuring a coffee bar, the microwave, and a pull-out pantry with ample storage. The home showcases a lavish yet cozy aesthetic. The countertop even has a bar at the end, perfect for casual conversation or enjoying a meal. Additionally, we upgraded a window and a few doors to create a brighter and cleaner environment, making cooking and spending time in the space even more enjoyable. |
